There are just about as many kinds of photo papers ready as there are printers. But these can ordinarily be classified into two main kinds of photo paper. There are basically porous and non-porous papers. These types mostly have to do with how quickly the ink dries. This affects not only the capability of the photo as well as the longevity of the ink and how fast the photo will fade over time.
